is off in Blouder, Colorado, at the Aerial Dance Festival. She says:

“I saw a fox!
It was cute!

I saw prarie dogs!
They were REALLY cute!

And then I saw the fox catch and eat a prarie dog!
It was, ummm … yeah.”

  1. She sure it was a fox? A lot more coyotes around here, especially hunting prairie dogs. Foxes are usually more mice-size.

Interesting factoid: the plague, the old-style bubonic Black Plague, is endemic in Colorado prairie dog colonies. Good idea to not fool around a lot in them and keep your distance from animals that spend time hunting them.
